Red Hills Family Fun-Love Letter 7/1/2009

Have I mentioned lately that I am tired? Really, really tired! As you can probably tell by the 18 posts in June-we are really busy- I don't think I have slowed down since the kids got out of school in May. The bad news is that it doesn't look like it is slowing down anytime soon. The good news is that I am actually having a great time with the kids, even if I am exhausted! Today I took the kids to Red Hills to golf. Adam called me on our way over and said he would meet us there. An unexpected, pleasant surprise! It turned out to be a perfect day-Jaden and I played off of the red tees and Koda and Sis played from the JAG tees. We all had a great time-even though it was 108 degrees-thank goodness we had a cart!

I got so excited today when I looked down #5 fairway, as the kids were getting ready to hit, and saw a fox! As a kid I mailed a postcard in that said I could adopt a fox. I waited, and waited for my fox to come in the mail, but it never came.

My kids love getting mail-who doesn't when it is good mail?!? So yesterday when there was a letter in the box with Coopers name on it he was thrilled, and then he found out who it was from! Miss Ella had sent him a letter-he was giddy! He couldn't wait to open it-then he couldn't wait to get home to send a letter back to her! Koda tells me all the time that he is going to marry Ella. As he opened the letter he informed me that Ella had told him she has six boyfriends (good to see she is keeping her options open) but he thinks that she loves him the most. At least I hope she does he said! Young love is so cute and innocent!
