Day two-St George Golf Course 7/9/2009

Today Bailia played against Camryn at St. George Golf Course. Going into this tournament, and knowing what a GREAT player Camryn is, I thought it would be a quick round of four holes. I figured Camryn would win every hole! Was I ever wrong! Today was one of the most stressful yet exciting rounds of golf of the entire season!
Bailia started out bad on the first hole-landing in the bunker on her second shot-losing the first hole. On the second hole she made a killer chip shot right next to the hole-they tie. On the third hole she hit everything solid and won that hole. Going into the fourth hole I started thinking Bailia actually had a shot! She won the fourth and lost the fifth hole. So they are tied 2.5 to 2.5 going into the final hole.
Whoever wins this hole moves on to the semi-finals! Bailia's drive lands RIGHT behind a tree-she hits it out nicely but loses the hole by a stroke! The emotions came out after she realized she had lost, which made me start to cry, but we are so proud of her! Coming so close to beating a great player, not to mention she is almost eleven! For Bailia to come out at seven, not ever playing and doing so well this season is amazing! We both have learned a lot over the past month, and a half and I will miss going around with her!
Jaden won his round, and will continue on to the semi-finals tomorrow! Sis, Koda, and I will be there to cheer him on!
