Bye Bye Summer!!

I rented the St George
City pool for a family party this past summer for a SUMMER FAREWELL Party-it was a blast-we had the whole pool to ourselves for two hours!! I especially love the picture of my dad with his feet up in the air coming out of the hydro-tube and his facial expression after words! TOO CUTE!! I was having too much fun going down the hydro-tube so not many pictures were taken but here are a few-the first is of my sister-Jen with Bailia-then of course my cute dad-and last is Keely and Bailia! I am planning on doing it again this year so family members-get your bathing suits ready!

GO JAZZ!!!

5-28-2007 For an early Fathers Day present I sent the boys (Uncle Jed, Grandpa Gary, Adam, and J-dog) to the Jazz Playoff game. Grandpa Williams has season tickets (better seats too) or I would have sent him as well-but at least Jaden got to go down with Grandpa Williams for a bit to get an even better view of the players! Jaden LOVED every second of it-even though they lost it was still an amazing experience! GO JAZZ!!!

Remembering Dorothy 5-31-2007

We love the outdoors-and spend a lot of time doing anything possible outside! Last summer we went hiking through the sand dunes/desert hill that is our backyard. Here are a few shots of one of our adventures where we found "Dorothy" and her un-named boyfriend! It was hard for me not to laugh as the kids came up with their version of what happened to Dorothy and her boyfriend as they found "her hand and bones" and her "boyfriends glove". Here is a condensed version of what they think happened. In a very small cave there was a piece of wood sticking out that looked very similar to old bones (my kids still think it is Dorothy’s Hand) and that is what they spotted first. Then they saw Dorothy’s name carved into the rock just above the little cave, at that point they were convinced that was Dorothy under the rock. About 10 feet away they found a few bones (animal bones) and a few feet from that was THE GLOVE! So here is what happened to Dorothy- She came out here to meet her boyfriend to have a picnic March 27, 1929, it was an unusually hot day and after carving her name into the rock it was too hot to carve her boyfriends name so they decided to get under the shelter of the rock cave to eat their lunch. The rock smashed them both as they were eating and the weight of the rock made the bones and the glove fly out landing near the cave.
Over Presidents day we went out again and the boys wanted to go visit Dorothy but Bailia wanted NOTHING to do with it-she is too scared to even go near there now!!The imagination of a child is so interesting and I will always remember our Dorothy hike.

Cowboy Day at School 9-14-2007

Here are my cute kidlets dressed up for cowboy day at school. During Rodeo week they do a lot of fun activities at school-dressing up like a cowboy is one of them. I thought my kids looked adorable and they loved wearing their cowboy boots for a "reason" instead of "just a normal day!"

A family of Golfers 5-26-2007

As many of you know we are a family of golfers! Adam especially loves to play-but we like to travel to Beaver to play because it is such a small town-relaxed course-they let us take the whole family out! So here are a few shots from one of the golfing trips we took this past summer to Beaver!

A few pictures of our Spec house

We are building yet another Spec in Green Springs-it is actually almost finished so these are older pictures -I will post the others later to show the finished product!

My little Poodle Girl

Bailia was a poodle girl this year for Halloween and had a friend Halloween party to go to as well-she looked adorable-here are a few pictures before the party.

Raptor Romp 10-18-2007

The Raptor Romp is held at our school every year-it is one of our biggest fund raisers of the year! The kids have a blast performing their class program in front of the whole school and their friends and family! Grandpa Williams(pictured with Bailia) was down in St George for work so he was able to watch this year-which my kids LOVED! The group picture of the four kids are Becca's kids Kyson(9) and Jada Mae(6) with my kids Bailia(6) and Jaden(7).

4th of July 2007

Every year for the 4th of July we go to the festivities at the Washington Park. The kids love playing games, getting their faces painted, and of course THE RACES!!! This past 4th Jaden took 1st place, Bailia took 2nd, and Cooper took 3rd. They are already looking forward to this year’s race!

Wednesday, February 20, 2008

It was two days ago that we spent the day in the warm sun on Presidents Day-now I sit looking out my window at HAIL!!! Soccer practice has been cancelled-it is dark, cold, and miserable! So I thought that it would lift my spirits to see pictures of WARM Punta Mita, Mexico. We went there last July for Jaden's birthday-now all I can think about is a warm sandy beach to lay out on-eating good food-amazing desserts and drinks and enjoying the SUN......

Jaden My photographer!

Jaden has loved taking pictures since I let him hold a camera (I would say about 2 years old) Every chance he gets he wants to take pictures-so here are the kids and I goofing off one day for J-dog.

Nan got Married!!

It has been a little over a year now that Nan got married!! She married Larry Stott and they are great for each other! These pictures aren't great (fluorescent lighting is not a good thing) but I am glad Nan has found someone to make her smile! I love the innocence in the picture where Nan is showing Bailia her garter-too cute!

Presidents Day

For something to do now that we are all starting to feel better I took the kids out into the sand dunes that are practically our backyard. They had a blast climbing trees running through the sand and having a picnic. The weather is BEAUTIFUL here which is why we choose to live here in sunny Southern Utah!!
