Happy 8th Birthday Bailia! 9/20/2009

I remember this day, eight years ago, like it just happened! We were VERY surprised to find out we were pregnant with baby number two! Jaden was still a BABY himself-he was five maybe six months old when we found out we were pregnant again. I was on birth control, and nursing, so saying we were shocked is an understatement! I guess some things are meant to be!
Eight years ago today I still had three weeks until my due date. I had been to the doctor that morning and they said everything looked fine. Later that night I started having heavy contractions. I didn't want to go to the hospital only to be turned away with false labor, so we got ready for bed. I couldn't sleep the contractions were coming so close together. I woke A up around two in the morning and told him, I think it's time!
By the time we got to the hospital I had to stop and wait for the contraction to pass, until I could start walking again. They checked us in, and sure enough I was dilated to a SEVEN! It was a SLOW night at the hospital, so all of the nurses gravitated to my room to watch the delivery. I bet I had six or seven nurses in the room! It was a VERY quick labor and delivery! When she came out Dr. Lunt said it is another Jaden, without the goods!
Bailia was a tough one-she had BAD reflux, she wouldn't take a bottle or a Binky since she hated anything foreign in her mouth! She would GAG every time I would try to put any shape, size, or brand of Binky in her mouth!
Having the first two just fourteen months apart, although not planned, has been great! When Cooper came along I had three kids three and under! I don't know how I survived the first few years~I am still tired! My kids are the BEST (and worst) of friends! Being so close in age makes it so there is ALWAYS a friend to play with!
Our family would not be complete without our little firecracker! She is such a strong, independent little girl, and we love her to pieces!
