Day three...Lagoon!!! 9/6/2009

Day three LAGOON time! I haven't been to lagoon for more than fifteen years, and Adam hasn't been for twenty years! We had SO much fun taking the kids and Jed and Nikki! We were there almost SEVEN hours, and loved every second of it! Honestly this vacation was exactly what I needed! I haven't had this much fun in a LONG time!
We started the day off on Wicked. This ride was not there the last time we had gone. Koda was tall enough to ride by 2". We all loaded up all nervous yet excited. Time for take off. We didn't really know what to expect but we quickly found out why they call the ride Wicked! It shot us STRAIGHT up into the sky, then straight down, upside down, left and right, it was crazy! The look on Cooper's was priceless, if I could have actually moved my arms I would have taken a picture! When we got off he said I think my head almost popped off! What a ride to start on!
Then it was onto the Colossus. Jaden and Koda wanted nothing to do with the double upside down coaster, so Adam sat out with them! I honestly didn't think I would be able to ride on any of the rides since I get sick on elevators and airplanes, but I loved it! I find out on a daily basis that Bailia is just like me! She is a total dare devil (I used to be in my younger years) and loved every scary ride she went on!

The last time I went to Lagoon I went on 3,2,1, FLY. Nikki talked Jed into going on it with her and Bailia kept begging us to go with her. Then we realized that three people can fly at one time, and Bailia hopped in with Jed and Nikki.
I filmed most of the ride but managed to take a few pictures. Jed and Nikki said as soon as they got to the top Bailia said, Jed, I can't breath, I can't breath! I think I am going to FALL! Yes Bailia, you are going to fall Jed said. Then Nikki pulled the rip cord, and they flew! They ALL loved it! After they got off, Bailia RAN to me saying lets go again!!

After a few scary rides we thought we would go on a mellow ride, so we headed to the Terror Ride. It is just a straight ride through a haunted house. Koda went with me and HATED it! I took a picture of us in the very dark ride, and now I see why he was so scared!!! CREEPY!
While I went on rides with the dare devils Nikki and Sis, Adam would hold my purse and glasses. Jed had to get a picture of Adam with his cute Man Bag!
The white roller coaster, that is so old it's name is "Roller Coaster" had to be the WORST ride we went on! As it jerked us around I grabbed my camera and tried to snap a few pictures of Koda~as you can see he hated the ride as much as we did!
Then on to the bumper cars! Koda had a blast and laughed his head off every time he crashed into another car! Koda rode in Green 007~perfect car for him!
A lot of prizes were won yesterday. I mean a LOT! We started off with the quarter throw-I gave everyone two quarters each-Nikki didn't want to do it because she knew it was a quarter wasted. She did it anyway and stuck her first quarter! The girl at the booth told us maybe five people a day land it! She won a tiger that was as big as her! The kids won a lot of little stuffed animals, and had so much fun doing so! The park was busy but not bad at all, we hardly ever had to wait in a line. So when the kids would play the games it was usually just the three of them, which means one of our kids would win each game!
Then on to Can It, where you toss a softball into a little bucket. We all couldn't stop laughing that Jed made it in and won a GIANT black panther! The guy to Jed's right had been there for a while, and was STILL there after we had walked the HUGE animals out to the truck, and gone to the bathroom! He had to have spent at least $40 bucks trying to win in the time we were watching him!
