Our primary president had asked me to type a small paragraph about Bailia, this is what she read...
Bailia came into our family just fourteen months after her older brother was born. She has always been determined to do whatever her brother can do, but better! If he can kick a ball, she can kick it farther! When she watched him get baptized last year, she could not WAIT to turn eight! Now it is finally her turn to shine, and receive the special blessings that her brother received a year ago.
She has been talking about her baptism for MONTHS. Worrying about getting the perfect dress, who would baptize her, what we would eat afterward-she is defiantly a planner!
We are so proud of Bailia for wanting to be baptized. For being an example to those around her, and her little brother, who looks up to her more than she knows! We hope she will always have that fighting personality, that shines through when standing for something that she believes in. We love you Sissy!
After she was baptized I went into the bathroom to help her get dressed and she just kept repeating~ That was AWESOME! I want to do it again! She said I feel SO warm inside, I feel SO special! She looked absolutely beautiful, she was glowing!
After the conformation she stood up in the circle, and Nan's husband, Larry, stuck his hand out to shake Bailia's hand-not knowing what he wanted-she gave him a high-five!
After the baptism, we all headed over to the Pasta Factory for a delicious lunch! Pasta, salad, bread sticks, and cupcakes-YUM! It was such a relaxing day! I didn't have to worry about cooking, cleaning, ANYTHING, it was perfect!
