The tale of two knee caps . . . 7/28/2010

Last night while at the pool Bailia and Jaden were lifting each other up, showing how strong they each were. The next thing I know Bailia is standing on the edge of the hot tub, trying to lift Jdog up out of the pool. He was obviously too heavy for her and his arm slipped from her grasp.
Then everything happened in slow motion. Why does everything bad happen in slow motion? She fell backwards into the hot tub, then popped up crying MY LEGS!!
As she fell backwards she tried to stop from falling, probably making it worse. Her shins slammed against the rocky surface of the step. It didn't bleed at first, but just looking at it I knew it was going to be bad. Within minutes it had swollen so much that the skin split and started to bleed. After a dose of ibuprofen, an ice pack, and a hug, Bailia was ready to show off her new knee cap . . . on her shin!
