The boys decided that they wanted their faces painted. They were lucky enough to get this boy. He put his heart and soul into doing his very best . . . even if it is a little wobbly, I like the fact that he took his job so seriously!
The races were interesting this year. Burke wasn't there to run the 24th races, to put it nicely, we missed him. The guy running it was going through the ages so fast that Koda missed his race, so he raced with the seven year old boys, and Jdog ran with the eleven year old boys. They both ran super fast, but we don't know what place they took, because they didn't let anyone know. They were too busy moving on to the next age race! Weird. But the boys still had fun!
Koda wanted to do the cup cake walk. Jdog didn't so we sat and watched him circle the chairs, alone! I guess the cup cake walk isn't very popular! So when the music stopped it wasn't a surprise that he WON! He walked over to the cup cakes, looked them over, and said no thank you I don't feel like one.
When we were walking away I asked him why he didn't take one. He said they looked homemade, not store bought!
That's my boy! You never know where these things come from! Out of all of my phobias that is one that I am glad all but one (Bailia) of my kids has inherited! Unless you KNOW where the food comes from, do not eat it!
