Jdog sprained his ankle.
The same ankle!
AGAIN!
This time playing kickball on his field trip, not ten minutes before they were headed back to school! When Mrs. P's number popped up on my phone I panicked thinking something was wrong, then I hear Jill say Hey it's me. Oh hi, I thought something might have been wrong seeing Mrs. P's number, what's up, I asked her. Then she tells me the news, not again! I raced over to the Bluff street park as fast as I could. It turns out Mrs. P. had carried him over to the table, then Jill started to carry him over to my car as soon as she saw me pull up, then she handed him off to me. The kid already weighs 85 pounds, so for them to carry him isn't an easy thing to do!
Thanks again to his wonderful teacher, and to one of my best friends, Jill, who treats my kids like they are her own! I love knowing that my kids are safe, comforted, and looked out for when I can't be there!

Koda had FOUR warts burned off of his leg today. He kept telling me how nervous he was. You will be fine I told him, knowing how bad it can hurt if they have to go deep! I told him if it started to hurt just close your eyes and think of other things. Tim came in the room and made Coop laugh, like he does with all of the kids. Then it was down to business, I filmed Koda thinking there would be a lot of drama, but he sat there quietly! Then it started to BURN, you could see it in his face, he closed his eyes really tight then took a BIG deep breath in and held it until Tim had finished! He is such a funny kid.

As always, Koda's soccer game was very entertaining! Koda has been the goalie for the first half of the game at almost every game. As I walked down to the goal A told Koda that I was close by, he turned and saw I had my camera and started posing for pictures. We could help but laugh~when the camera is in your face all day every day from day one~you get used to the whole posing business!
We were in charge of the halftime oranges, so at halftime I walked over and helped hand out the oranges. As I sat there with them one of the boys looks at me and says "Your son is the best goalie" thanks I told him that is really nice of you to say. "No really, he is the best goalie ever!" I thought it was so cute!
After the half Koda headed out on the field ready to run! One of the giants on their team (are there really kids THAT big, or do parents put their older kids in the younger age division?) kicked the ball high and hard, hitting Coop right in the eye! He started BAWLING, one of his little team mates ran over to see if he was alright, as soon as the boy told him he looked fine, the crying stopped and he was back on the field. His head wobbled a bit as he ran, and he kept rubbing his eye, but it shocked us that he didn't quit! He is getting tougher every game!
We actually WON this game 3~2! When the game was over the boys kept asking the coach~Did we really win?!?! They were shocked and SO excited! Way to go boys!
