The coolest village EVER! 12/23/2010

My parents have known Terry Shram for years. My dad has talked forever, about taking us over to see the village Terry has in his basement. Thanks dad~I'm glad you came along~oh you didn't? You were golfing with A? Nice. Don't you two have enough bonding time on the course, you couldn't skip a day? I kid. I kid!
This village really can't be described with words. Sure I could try~ beautiful, grand, impressive, magnificent, stunning, wonderful, sensational, fantastic, remarkable, terrific, excellent, awesome, INCREDIBLE!
See, I can't do it.

The pictures won't do it justice either. The brain can't wrap itself around the size, the detail, or just how jaw dropping this place is. It is an entire city, filling his ENTIRE basement! It will leave you speechless. Or in my case, squealing like a child . . .

Out of everything there, Koda loved the red train the best. It was one of maybe six or seven trains that would circle the city. It went fast, and it was colorful~he could have watched it all day! He would say~Here it comes again, hurry mom take my picture with it!

Kimberly LOVES Bailia. Every time she sees her, she wants to be held by her. After holding her for quite some time, letting Kimberly look at the trains, Bailia said mom, my arms really hurt! Then on the way home she said my arms are going to hurt a lot when I'm older! The boys asked why? She said well, I'll be a mom and they have to do that ALL day!
The Palm Hotel, with Elvis rocking his guitar and people dancing in their poodle skirts, makes me smile! Then there's the picture show! A drive in movie that really changes the picture~awesome. Next to that is the Flamingo hotel~so cute! And of course, Jdog snapped a picture of the house that had the American flag waving in its front yard.

I loved the McDonald's building, with its "Burgers 15 cents" sign, and its bright golden arches, made it very eye catching. I may hate the food, but in a village it is adorable!
On the ice there were people really skating, sledders were sledding down a snowy hill at super fast speeds, and the houses and restaurants lights were glowing. Grandma Johnson and the boys tried to take it all in!
We also enjoyed seeing the Harley Davidson place. Jdog has a gym meet next to the real Harley Davidson up north every year, so it was cool to see it miniaturized!

The Krispie Kreme doughnut shop, sitting next to the Campbell soup restaurant was also a favorite! Look how cure the Krispy Kreme van is, and the detail on the people enjoying their soup! After stopping for soup and doughnuts, why not head over to Applebees, or St Nick's Toy Shop!
I gave the camera to Jdog, to get the village from his perspective too. Koda wanted to be lifted higher, so I hoisted him up & Jdog wanted to take our picture. After taking it, Koda said something I am famous for saying "just one more picture", so J got ready to take one more picture of us. Just before he snapped the picture, Koda turned and kissed me. Oh, how I love that boy!
