The kids had a hard time falling asleep, especially Jdog. Just after 10:00 I went in to check on the kids, Jdog was crying. He said I can't fall asleep, and it is going to be all my fault that Santa won't come! I told him to try and relax and he would be asleep in no time~he was asleep within 20 minutes. After catching a glimpse of Santa in the sky, I could only imagine how hard it would be to fall asleep!

I have mentioned our nice neighbors before. John and Colleen are so good to us~they let us use their pool all summer long, and they always bring us back treats and treasures from their travels. I take them over dinner and goodies every now and then. But they have become like another set of grandparents for us. For Christmas they completely spoiled us.
They had talked to me about wanting to get a Wii game for the kids, I said that would be fine. They ended up getting EACH of the kids a game! Then came the big presents. Yes, bigger than three Wii games. They gave me a Bosch mixer, with extra paddles, and a food processor attachment! I told you they spoiled us!
Many people are baffled at the fact that our "neighbors" would give us such extravagant gifts. As I talked with Colleen about, and thanking her for the hundredth time, it she made a comment that made me feel really good. She said something along the lines of-don't they know how Santa works~you got it because you deserve it! Well, I don't know about that, but we sure do love and appreciate them!

As Jdog dug through his stocking he pulled out four sticks of deodorant! The night before we had been giving him a hard time about stinking after playing basketball all day. As he pulled out the final stick he said "Come on Santa, I don't stink THAT bad!"
Adam and I started laughing so hard, I had tears rolling down my cheeks! It was a classic moment that I'm glad was caught on video!

Bailia was so excited about everything that Santa brought her! She was so busy showing us all of her fun presents, that she didn't even notice the sewing machine! The big picture of her is just after she noticed that it was sitting in plain sight! Pure delight!
