We played the green team, they were good! We were down 2-0 at half time! Bailia runs over after halftime and said, I volunteered to be goalie! My heart stopped. In the past Bailia hasn't enjoyed being goalie, therefore not being a very good one.
She did a great job! One goal got by her, but she stopped three after that! Her drop kicks went flying and they scored their little hearts out in the second half. We won the game 4-3! Way to go Dynamite! A big thank you goes out to Coach! He is by far THE best coach around! He can boost the girls confidence, and get them to play as a team, better than the million dollar NFL coaches out there! Thanks Yale for making this soccer season GREAT!

Bailia's costume was ordered the end of August. Plenty of time for it to get here before Halloween, right? The lady that made it told me 4-6 weeks-perfect that means the first week or two of October. Well the end of October comes and still NO costume. The lady will not respond to me, and I have no idea what to do! She finally sent me an e-mail saying they had a bad storm move through (what that has to do with sewing I have no idea) and that it would be to me by Monday the 26th for sure!
Bailia wore Koda's wizard costume to her school party, and Koda wore the old lion costume-which he loved! Then after school on Friday we came home to find a package on the doorstep! Little Bo Peep had made it! Odd that it would be here by the 26th when the package clearly shows that she mailed it on the 28th! She looked DARLING in her costume, and everything turned out great!

Then we headed over to our ward Chili cook off/ Trunk or Treat party. I am NOT a fan of Trunk or Treat, but since they did it at 3:30 instead of during Trick or Treating I said ok, when they asked me (they wanted all primary teachers to be there) to come. They also needed someone to bring a pot of Chili-I said ok-which I found out after I volunteered that it was a contest. So if I am going to enter a contest I might as well win, right?!? I made two different pots of chili-with recipes I will call "Dump and Taste". Adam always tells me I should write these things down as I go, but I don't! They were both good, but were they the winning chili? So I dumped them both together, and lo and behold I took 1st place!

Then-in the kids opinion- the most exciting part of the day-Trick-or-Treating! As always they collected too much candy, gave me a good workout, and had a great time! I took the kids around, while Adam stayed home to hand out candy. We had double the amount of Trick-or-Treaters come to our house this year, compared to last. We must not be a very popular street-last year we had three groups come. This year we had six groups-INCLUDING our kids! Oh well...Happy Halloween to all, and to all a good night!

Man, I am so mad that I missed the second half of the game. Yale said it was an absolute nail-biter. That is so awesome about Balia and being goalie. Yale said she was a pro! And...Your Halloween costumes are beyond cute. Looks like we survived Halloween. See ya Sat.
