We Sleep, Breath, and Eat GOLF !!! 6/18/2009

Our kids practice their golf game, a LOT! The night before the Sunbrook Tournament we took the kids to Red Hills to practice. They ask ten times a day when we get to go hit again. If they didn't love it so much we wouldn't, as my sister said, eat, sleep, and breath golf!

For the second week in a row I had to coach Bailia solo-well I also had my little side kick Koda! It is more than nerve racking for me, and takes me a full day to re-coup after a tournament. It sounds silly but honestly it is tough not having any control of the game-it is all on their shoulders which makes it really tough! Sunbrook was by far the toughest course we have played so far. If you were in the rough it was really hard to get out of the really wet thick grass.
Bailia did great playing in the 10 and under once again. She scored a 43 which tied for 4th, but took 5th with a scorecard playoff.

Big dog didn't let the course take him down~he scored a 28 which won 1st place in the 7-8 year old division (he even beat the 9-10 year old boys) and he can't wait for the next tournament!
Looking for golf balls is something we have done since moving to the golf course area almost 7 years ago. We have moved three times since moving here but all were by the course. It is so peaceful going out searching for the balls-it gets exciting sometimes because it is almost like an Easter egg hunt!

The weather here has been amazing. Even though it can't make up its mind weather to rain or not, the temperatures have been awesome! Not knowing weather the clouds should get together and storm or split up always make for a great photo shot!
If you came to our house and observed our family one thing is certain that you would see~Harley is spoiled rotten. She is so spoiled in fact that she can't even run through the desert she has to ride on the 4~wheeler! We actually have to push her off to make her run a bit so she will get her exercise! When we were done looking for balls last night with Harley whimpering over and over that she wanted to go home, we told her that we were ready. She couldn't wait for us and bolted to the 4~wheeler to secure her spot!
