Yesterday, Bailia's soccer coach threw a water party for the team at the St. George water park. I honestly didn't want to go, since it was just another thing to do on my list that never ends.
It turns out I am so glad we went-Bailia of course had a blast with all of her friends, and Koda had so much fun splashing around. I don't think I sat down for more than thirty seconds during the two hours we were there! It is a LARGE water park, which means that the kids run EVERYWHERE! I am a worry wart so I can't have them out of my eyesight, but I had a great time!

The girls had a great game of Red Rover! I love it when kids play old school games!

Then came a round of down by the river. The words have changed since I used to play this as a kid, but the game is still the same-down by the river with a hankie pankie, where the bull frogs jump from bank to bank...man that song gets stuck in your head!
While Bailia ate Popsicles with her team, I walked Koda across the street to Judds to get an ice cream cone! While there I bought some candy, as Koda would say, the kind that you could get back in the olden days when you were a kid mom! I bought a few of everything zots, cry baby's, hot dogs, mary jane, and a few more.
This is Koda's face as he tries a Cry Baby for the first time! He actually liked it! Just looking at his face makes my mouth water, and my stomach hurt thinking about how sour they are!
