Happy Birthday to me best friend EVER! My sister turned 31 yesterday- and Jaxon came over for a few hours while she went to a meeting (birthdays are SO much fun when you get old!) The kids had a ball playing with him. Riding bikes, jumping on the tramp, and being silly! Thanks for coming to play Jack-and I hope you had a VERY happy birthday Jen!.jpg)

After Jaxon went home Bailia asked if she could paint her nails. Sure I said-just don't make a mess. I was busy finishing my lesson for primary and after about 20 minutes I thought it seemed awefully quiet! So I went in to check on Bailia, and this is what I found! Bailia and Koda were having a beauty day! Bailia had painted her own nails and then decided to work on Koda's nails as well! The things this kid gets talked into might make him hate us when he is older-right now I love it that he is so easy going! .jpg)
When I was young (maybe kindergarten or first grade) I took a bag of all of my money to school-to give it to Mrs. Little-my sisters teacher. Why? I have no idea-maybe I thought she needed it? Maybe that was my way of letting her know I liked her? I will have to ask my mom if she knows the reason. Anyway, Friday I found out Bailia is a girl after my own heart. As I see her sneaking something into her backpack I ask her what it is. Nothing she says. Tell me what it is-She pulls out a zip-loc FILLED with ALL of her money and a note taped to it telling Mrs. T that she wanted her to buy a new pencil sharpener with the money. The sharpener at school has been broken for a while, so Bailia decided to take matters into her own hands! I didn't let her take it to school, instead I told her if she wanted to do it that bad (since she was bawling by this time that I am such a mean mom and she can do whatever she wants with her own money-oh I can't wait for the teenage years-that should be LOADS of fun) that I would take her to the store and she could buy a sharpener and still have oodles of money left over. She said that idea would work for her-so yesterday we headed to trusty Target and bought a new sharpener-and sure enough Bailia has a bag of money that is still pretty full!

Marcia,
Besides bringing tears to my eyes, What a cutie to think about Mrs. T. and her need for a new pencil sharpener.
