4/20-5/16/2011 1st Grade Field Trip, Easter, Soccer, Piano Recital, Mother's Day, Track Meet, Missing Teeth, Golf, Rec Center Field Trip!

Somehow another month has passed since the last time I posted. I say this all the time, but this is getting ridiculous! How can time possibly be going by so fast? It seems like all I do is blink and a week has passed, then another, and another.
On with the post~I love music, always have. I get uplifted, empowered, happy, energized, and so much more by music. The song that pops into my head often lately is "I'm in a Hurry" by Alabama.

I'm in a hurry to get things done
Oh I rush and rush until life's no fun
All I really gotta do is live and die
But I'm in a hurry and don't know why

Oh, I hear a voice
That says I'm running behind
Better pick up my pace
It's a race and there ain't no room for someone in second place . . .

I have a list a mile long that needs to be done, or should have been done long ago. But that list just keeps getting longer by the day, and it doesn't look like I'll be catching up on it any time soon. So for now I will just keep treading water & hope that I can make it through the next nine days. School will be out after that, and I'm hoping that life will slow down a bit, & that we can enjoy the simple things of life. Sure we will still be busy, but taking hikes, golfing, going on bike rides, golfing, reading, playing soccer, golfing, having fun at the pool, and golfing will be on the agenda. I will be loving every minute of it, well besides the 110* scorching heat and the kids fighting non-stop. But other than that I will love every day of summer vacation! Bring it on!
