Aug 5~Oct 2, 2011~Bailia's gym meet, soccer, Taylor Swift, Pa turns 50, soccer camp, Koda's lost tooth, Sis turns 10, western day, grandparent day, Iron County Fair, Elks State Shoot out, 1st day of school, fun with friends, & Koda's welts!!

Seriously. How has it been more than two months since I have posted? That's more than sixty days. I sound like a broken record~but with three kids involved in activities I am ALWAYS running! I feel lucky if I have time to shower each day! When I climb into bed each night I am so exhausted that most nights I'm asleep before my head hits the pillow! So here we are, almost a week into October, which means that Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas will be here and gone before I blink. Maybe Father Time, is actually playing a trick on the world and has sped up time?
So the past two months have obviously been filled with traveling, soccer, gymnastics, school, friends, and loads of fun! Sunday Bailia competed in her first gymnastics competition. We were told not to expect much since she had never competed and the fact that we had just decided to put her in competitions three weeks before competitions started! So she didn't have much time to prepare~but she did great! Just like the boys competitions there are girls from other gym's that practice 4-5 hours everyday! So even though Sis didn't place as high as she would have liked, she was still very proud of herself! She even wore her medals to school the next day! I swear she has more confidence in her right pinkie, than I do in my entire body! Girls are scored differently than boys and their maximum score is a 10.0. Bailia scored 8.5 on the vault (9th place), 7.15 on the high bar (10th place), 6.0 on the beam (10th place~she fell off twice~which drove us nuts because the beam was supposed to be her strongest event because she does so well during practice~but I could only imagine how nervous she was) and 8.2 on the floor(8th place)! Way to go Sis! We can't wait to see how you do this weekend!

The day before Grandpa Williams 50th birthday he had gone up to Richfield to play in a golf tournament~which he won! So we decided to sneak into their house while they were gone and trash the place! The kids and I had a ball hanging streamers, blowing up balloons, and putting up as many decorations as we could! Of course I had to get 500 pictures, and when we stepped outside to get a picture of the banner on the front~the door locked behind us! The door is the type that you can open from the inside, even if it is locked on the outside. LAME! My car keys, phone, their house key, everything was inside! As we sat their debating what to do, Sis suddenly screamed I unlocked the back door! I remember walking outside to look out back and I didn't relock it!! So Jdog and Sis ran around to the back yard and saved the day! Whew! What a great memory, and the best part~Padre LOVED it!

Koda wrapped every one of Bailia's presents! He looked so stinking cute trying to get the paper just right, while trying to tape it at the same time! He was very proud of his wrap job, and couldn't wait to show Bailia!

If you know the Milne family, you know that we LOVE to eat. There are a few people in this family (I won't name names) who will eat anything~McDonalds, Frostop, Marv's, well you get the idea. Then there is a certain someone who loves fresh, high quality, non-processed food. Painted Pony is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. Adam loves to get the fillet with extra blue cheese fritters, and look at that~I have even convinced him that spinach is a delicious vegetable! Yes I love spinach~ always have! I used to get SO excited every time they would serve it for school lunch, or when my mom would buy me my own little can of spinach, since nobody else in my family would eat it, and let's be honest~I wouldn't touch the canned stuff anymore! Now I love the fresh baby spinach served cold, lightly wilted, or creamed. One of my favorite dishes at the Pony is the duck. I always take the bacon off of it and push it to the side, but devour the apple stuffed duck, that sits atop a celery root puree, drizzled with an apple cider reduction. Delicious!

During the rodeo week the kids had western day at school. Koda couldn't wait to wear his cowboy getup! He has been waiting for this day for YEARS! This outfit has gone through all three kids now! Jdog first wore it to his western day four years ago, then Bailia wore it three years ago, and now Koda Bear finally had the chance to wear it! He also decided that he wanted to be a cowboy for Halloween! I jumped ALL over that idea! SIMPLE!

Jdog started 6th grade. What? Did I just say that my boy is in 6th grade? Wasn't I JUST at the Woodward building hanging out at Judds and loving singing in Silverados! How can I have a child in the 6th grade? Crazy.
Jdog absolutely LOVES school. He's reading at a 12th grade level, he LOVES science, choir, PE, what am I saying~ he loves every class! We had parent teacher conference today and I sent Adam in to get started (with six classes, I thought they would last at least an hour or more) while I ran the kids to their after school activities. Adam called me 20 minutes later and said that he had finished! Every teacher raved about Jdog being an excellent student. His choir teacher told A that each of her classes had earned a party. She said that through all of her periods that day, Jdog was the only student that came up to her and said thank you for the party. A told her that his drill sergeant mom had taught him well. Yes, I cried.  It feels good knowing that all of my hard work is paying off. Jdog is such a good, good boy. I hope he stays that way FOREVER!

Bailia is in the 5th grade and loves it! She loves her teacher, her friends, and even has a few boys crushing on her. I'm not ready for my girl to have boys liking her!
Koda is in 2nd grade. That's right my BABY is in 2nd grade. Someone please tell the time to SLOW down. Thank you. He is having a ball~ he talks too much during class, plays with all of the girls at recess, and skips lunch so that he has more time to play. Someone help me!
