Koda's Baptism 2/4/2012

Koda's baptism day went so smooth, and I enjoyed every minute of it! Koda couldn't wait to be baptized~ before we got to the chapel he kept saying what if my toe, leg, arm, etc. accidentally comes above the water? We told him over and over that it wouldn't, but if it did, he would have to get dunked again. I think he secretly wanted to get dunked more than once! Haha!
When we were driving to the luncheon, he said mom do I ever get to be baptized again? I told him that he could do baptisms for the dead. He said no, I want to get baptized for myself again, it was AWESOME! 
We had a house filled with family, and friends that I claim as family! We ate, relaxed, and enjoyed each others company. It was fabulous. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives!

We had to race to Jdog's basketball game after Koda's luncheon~ I only took one photo at the game~ I recorded the game instead of taking pictures this time. 

January 2012 ~ Koda's 8th Birthday, Basketball, Gym Meets, Letter from the President, more Basketball, Cute Harley, Jdog's Art Class, and Koda's warts!!

Remember the letter that Bailia wrote to the President? He wrote back! I'm sure that he didn't personally do it, but it is still neat! Keeping all political views aside, to have the president send you a package is one of the coolest thing that could happen to a kid! I hadn't picked up the mail for a few days, so I sent Sis down to the mailbox one morning before school. She came back SCREAMING~ THE WHITE HOUSE ~ THE WHITE HOUSE!!! 
What in the world are you talking about? 
She waved the package through the air ~ The President sent me a package!! I had never seen her so excited! She has such a big smile on her face, that her nose crinkled! If that's not excitement, I don't know what is! 
In the package was a letter, a signed picture of the president, an activity book, a map of the White House grounds, and a little magazine filled with facts about the White House! 

After watching Keaton's basketball game, we all headed to PV high to watch Dallin. Keaton is such a sweet boy, he came over and gave everyone a hug, then sat and visited with Jdog and Koda! How many 14 year old boys do you know that would do that? He is such a great example for my kids!

Koda wore his 2nd place medal around for a few days, he is so proud of himself! I love it! We ran to Harmons for a few things, and while we were checking out Koda stood by the coin machine. He always likes to go over to it to see if any coins have fallen onto the ground. He usually finds a few ~ this time he found a coin from the Cayman Islands! He has added it to his coin collection.
