Without fail, one of the kids will complain about dinner EVERY night. Tonight I made a roast, with mashed potatoes and gravy, with roasted carrots and caramelized onions, Koda complained. Tuesday I made shredded pork tacos~ Bailia complained~even though she ate two tacos! Monday it was Jaden's turn to complain. I had made steak sandwiches with spicy gooey cheese, and roasted honey garlic red potatoes. Delicious. Well, delicious to everyone but Jdog! He sat at the table staring at his plate for more than an hour! Oh the joys of motherhood!

Jaden slept in his "own" room last night for the first time. He wants his own space, he wants it clean and nice, I am all for that! He slept like a baby. The other two kidlets didn't do so well! Koda came in around two-it was like waking up to the Burger King man! He stood over me, face to face, whispering Momma! When I opened my eyes it startled me so much, I about peed my pants! He climbed in bed with us. Let me rephrase that-he climbed on TOP of me and fell fast asleep! Bailia followed suit a short while later. She came in crying I had a nightmare! Adam told her to climb on in-let me just say that it was one of the longest nights I have had in a while. I am exhausted! With one child practically on top of me the entire night, making it deathly hot, and the other child kicking me in the side, I didn't get much sleep! If this continues, Jaden will be moving back in with Koda and Sis!
I didn't realize how badly Jdog needed friend time, until Kenna came over to play yesterday. He leads such a structured, busy life, that a little down time was needed! They played the Wii, watched Cloudy with a chance of meatballs while eating lunch and ice cream sundae's , and just had a good time hanging out. They all get along so well, it was nice not to hear arguing for a few hours!

Jdog is such a hoot! While playing catch he would practice his Michael Jackson dance moves~he is getting really good~he obviously doesn't get his moves from his mom or dad! He is also very excited to have finally mastered the WORM!
We look forward to the little things in life. Fish taco night at Cafe Rio, is one of them. They only have the Mahi Mahi tacos, and shrimp tacos on Saturday. Adam calls in the exact same order EVERY Saturday! Sometimes we have them for lunch, sometimes for dinner. Either way the workers find it humorous that we are there without fail. We are like the mailman through rain, or shine we will be there for our tacos! We have been eating them for a couple of months now, and honestly it brings back a little piece of Mexico every time we eat them!
I have been wanting new bedding for about six months, our bedding was getting ragged and needed to be replaced. Searching for new bedding is like finding a new dress. If I didn't want it I would find PLENTY, but if I am in the market nothing is available! After looking, and looking A finally bit the bullet and ordered a bed set. When it came we both agreed it HAD to go back. So we were back to square one. When I found this bedding I kept my fingers crossed that it would look good, so that my search could finally end. I put it on and I thought it looked pretty good, then A came home and he loved it. I spent a lot more than I wanted to, but my search is over, and we are both happy!
When I asked Koda what he wanted for his birthday breakfast, he said bacon. OK, what else? Just bacon, he said. Koda is a total carnivore! He doesn't like to waste his time on pasta, or bread, just give him MEAT! I told him he had to have something with his bacon, so he settled for pancakes. YUM! I made a #6 pancake and gave him six (half) slices of bacon-he was in HOG heaven!
I left Adam in charge of Cooper's birthday gifts. Let's face it, being the mom, I buy practical (boring) presents. Dad on the other hand buys cool (things momma will not buy) presents. Adam really wanted to get him a DSi, but he knows it would be a waste of money, since he bought Jdog a DS years ago and I can count on my right hand how many times it has been played (what can I say, I am a very strict Momma) so he didn't buy one! He started out at Costco looking for a Wii game, and called me saying he had found a cute track suit for him. He wanted to make sure he had the right size- this 2T looks like it will fit him-is that his size? Laughing, I said sure, if he were still TWO, he wears a seven!! I guess at least he called to check, but it would have been hilarious if he would have actually bought the 2T! They didn't have anything else that caught his eye, so he headed to Best Buy, to see if they had the Tony Hawk Wii game he wanted. They didn't, so he went across the way to Walmart, they didn't have it either! So I called Target to see if they had it, they said yes! I had them hold it for him and he headed over-it was the last one! So four stores later he found what he was looking for, plus some! He also bought a race track (he and I each had one just like it when we were kids), and a Wii Sims race car game. Adam did a great job (not surprising), Koda loved everything!

When Bailia has a loose tooth it is quite an ordeal. Her teeth get so loose that you think a sneeze would knock it out, but her gums will NOT let the poor tooth go! She finally lost a tooth that has been loose for two months, and REALLY loose for two weeks! She was SO excited to find two dollars under her pillow! That is tooth number five, with number six soon to follow since the other bottom tooth was loose before this one! She is SO excited to go to school tomorrow to show her two best friends, Kyler and McKaylee!
Tomorrow my little Koda Bear turns SIX! It is hard for me to wrap my brain around that number. Being in the hospital with him, smelling his sweet skin so fresh from heaven, seems like yesterday. How can it be, that six years have gone by?!Koda is my laid back, happy go lucky child. He calms me. He makes me smile. I am very lucky to have my three babies-after two surgeries, and then my hysterectomy my doctor told me with all of the complications I have had, it is amazing that I was actually ably to conceive. I think that God knew not being able to have children, would be something I would not cope well with, I thank Him for that. My kids are very close in age-it was not something we had planned in our life plan, but it happened for a reason. Looking back at having three kids, ages three and under, I wonder how I made it through all of the sleepless nights! Now looking at them together, they are best friends. Of course they fight like cats and dogs, but I think that they have that special connection, somewhat like twins. They have such a strong love for each other, they make me want to be a better Momma, a better friend, a better person. Matty, I hope you have a great day. I hope that all of your hopes and dreams come true. I hope that you know we love you with all of our hearts, and we are so grateful that you are a part of our family! Happy Birthday Big Boy!
Koda has wanted to go ice skating since he heard we were getting a rink! So asking him what he wanted to do for his birthday was a no brainer! We had SO much fun, we can't wait to go back!
It is SO cold in there, we were bundled up, but next time we will dress even warmer! We went right when they opened, which was the PERFECT time, we were one of maybe ten people there. By the time we left they were packed! Jaden did NOT want to go at all. I made him go around at least once, since I knew that he was just nervous. He fought me on it, but reluctantly got on the ice. After one time around the rink he absolutely LOVED it! He kept saying I am having a blast, I can't believe how much fun this is, I love skating more than bowling now! He fell HARD a few times, but got right back up and kept on going! Bailia was a pro from the moment her blades touched the ice! She went around and around the rink, spun circles, and went backwards. It was so much fun to watch her!Koda started off as a side rail skater, holding onto the side and my hand, and still falling~a LOT! But by the end, he didn't even need to hold onto the side as I pulled him around the rink! The boys and I got off the ice with about fifteen minutes left of our two hour session to warm up by the heaters. It took the Zamboni machine to get Sis off of the ice!

Koda got a package in the mail from Grandma Williams the other day for his birthday~I can't believe my baby is almost SIX!
He made the comment to me a while ago that he wanted to have silk jammies like Sis! I soon found out that finding boy silk pj's is quite a task!
Then one day a lady came into my moms work and somehow they started talking about silk pj's~the lady said she could make some and even put his name on them! Koda loves them all and put the leopard pj's on as soon as they came out of the box! Only Koda could pull them off, they are so HIM!
What to do, what to do? It is New Years Eve, let's do something fun. But what? We hadn't been bowling for DAYS, so we thought it was time! We are getting better and better (which makes it more exciting) I now hold the champion reins at 149, but I am SURE the competitor in A will not be able to handle that and we will have a throw down sooner, than later!

When we got home a serious game of Mario Brothers Wii took place. Koda's hair was soaking wet with sweat, the kids giggled the entire time they played! I made cookies and listened in on the fun. Laughter really is the BEST medicine!
Adam got home from work and joined in~things got serious as they tried to pass each world! Laughing and yelling at each other as they tried to conquer each level~quit bouncing on my head~one would shout, you just knocked me into the lava~the other would squeal! Laughing as they all would scream BUBBLE, BUBBLE~hurry before you DIE!
After a fine dinner of Pizza Factory, we had an intense game of darts! I won't name any names, but I will say there is someone in the family, who birthed three children, that is pretty darn good at darts!
