Looking Back...

Here are a few pages of my babies-this is almost 5 years ago! Looking at the pictures it seems like these were just taken yesterday-it is hard to believe that my babies are no longer babies!

Water Park 5-2008

The kids LOVE going to the water park that is right around the corner from our house-I don't take them very often because there are always too many people there-but after church last week the park was empty so I told the kids LETS GO! They had a really good time cooling off on such a hot day!

Moving on...

Last night was out first round of playoffs and WE WON!! J-dog hit an awesome triple! Game 2 is tonight at 5:30 unless the weather cancels the game-I will post an update later tonight if we play!

Jaden's Talent Show! 5-20-2008

I am SO very proud of J-dog, his class had a talent show yesterday and he sang Taylor Swift Picture to burn for his talent! He is such a tender hearted shy little guy that when he told me a few weeks ago that he wanted to sing I thought he would change his mind before showtime! He was so nervous (as was I) and although he didn't rock out like he does at home- I think he did an amazing job(press play to hear and watch a star in the making)! He said he was too nervous to look over at us and that he felt better looking where there were no people, but you can still see him pretty good. I am so proud to be his Momma-way to go Big Dog!

Happy Mother's Day 5-11-2008

This year I had one of the best Mother's Day yet! We had a VERY lazy day to start got the house clean-then I opened way too many presents! (thanks A and kids) I got a new watch, an a top, a pair of pants, and a pair of Capri's (A always spoils me) Bailia made me a cookie flower bouquet with a sweet card, J made a framed letter with his picture in it as well telling me I am the BEST, plus a card with job coupons (that I better start using) and Koda made me a Popsicle stick flower in a pot with his picture on it! We then watched the Jazz game (that was close!! We almost lost-too bad I am posting this so late and we now know we didn't win it ALL-if only that 3 point shot would have gone in we would have had a good chance!!) Then we headed out to Springdale to hit the Pizza Noodle for some yummy grub! It turned out to b a very relaxing yet fun Mothers Day-Thanks A and kids!! Now... what to do for Fathers Day???

Baseball Champ! 5-16-2008

Last night was the last game of the season-we start playoffs on Tuesday. J has grown so much this season and has become a great ball player! He plays third base and does an awesome job! I am so proud of him and I will actually miss going to watch him play-but then again Golf Season is right around the corner!!

Grandpa Milne 5-16-2008

Great Grandpa Milne is always happy to see his Great Grand kids! We stopped by last night after J-dogs game to visit for a bit. The weather was PERFECT- we are hoping this will be a start to a new trend! NO WIND!

Cotton Days Parade! 5-10-2008

Cotton days Parade invited Sandstone 2nd grade to be a part of the fun! Jaden was so excited to be in it-then Sandra asked Koda and Sis to dress up too-you would have thought they won the lottery! It was such a fun day-after the parade we went to all of the little festivities that they were doing at the park-the kids climbed the rock wall, played games, and won too many prizes!

Bailia's Graduation 5-2008

I can't believe my baby girl has graduated Kindergarten! It has been a great year and it actually has been like having her in first grade since her school had full day kindergarten this year! I just had her parent teacher conference yesterday and Bailia sits at the beginning of a second grade level! Those that know her already know she is too smart for her own good! Way to go SIS! We love you and are so proud of you!

Baseball Star!! 5-7-2008

Looking Back, WAY back!

I am cleaning house-going through EVERYTHING-and I came across some pretty funny pictures from long, long ago!

In the very top photo I believe that is Shelli Losee on the left-me on the right. The middle picture is Mitch Wasden, My sister Jennifer, and myself. The last picture is at one of my birthday parties and I can name most of them- Jenni Mangum, Krissy Whitney, Me, BreAnn Edwards, Bethany Cramer, Talea Toress, & Mitch Wasden! I must say a BIG thanks to my Mom-thanks for the AWESOME hair-do! I am thinking of going back to that style! TOO FUNNY!

July 2007 Vacation- Punta Mita

Here are a few pictures from our trip last summer to Punta Mita, Mexico. Jaden turned 7 while there and the Four Seasons threw him a party with a pinata, cake, fun and games! It was a lot of fun-the food was amazing! I think if he had his way we would go on a vacation every time someone has a birthday!

Longing for another Vacation....

OK-it has been six months since we have been on a vacation and apparently that is about how long it takes for me to get back into vacation mode again. I miss the sound of the Ocean, the relaxed atmosphere where there are no schedules, no cell phones, nothing but my husband and cute kids. So this post is dedicated to our last vacation to Cabo. I am now looking into the newest four seasons that opens mid-2008 in Bora Bora (those of you that know me know this is my dream vacation) if the flight wasn't so long it would already be booked. Actually it isn't the flight that is deterring me it is the layover-with three kids I know how bad layovers are! So for now I will keep dreaming of my Bungalow over the beautiful turquoise ocean-but hey - you never know!!

J-Dog Team Wolfpack!

We have had such a fun time watching the kids get better and better each week as the season progresses. We have 3 weeks left of soccer and about a month left of baseball-I asked Adam what am I going to do not having to be two places at once? He said I am sure you will stay busy-it's what you do. It is true I always take on and do more than I should, but my kids appreciate it, right? Well at least they hopefully will someday!

Field Trip 4-8-2008

I went on a walking field trip with Jaden's class on Tuesday. I am glad I was able to go and take a few pictures of Jaden and his friends! We walked to Burger King, The Bank, Albertsons, and Little Caesars. At each stop the managers would take us on a tour and tell us more about how their business runs. It was very interesting and I was surprised to learn that a LOT of people order Whoppers at 9:30 in the morning!! OH MY!

I WON!!!!!

I just had to post-I am so excited that I had to share with the world! I WON! We put together a game every year for the NCAA and we had 15 entries at $10 a pop-I took 1st place (99% in the COUNTRY!) winning $100 Kimberly took 2nd winning $40 and Gary took 3rd winning back his entry fee of $10. Congrats to all-and good luck next year!

Our FUN Quick trip to SLC!!! 4-5-2008

I surprised the kids Friday morning- checking them out of school early and heading to Salt Lake for a mini get-away since Adam would be working late again and would be gone most of the weekend. When I told them where we were going they thought I was kidding-but soon found out I wasn't-We had a GREAT time staying at my parent’s house, shopping, eating AWESOME food, and having a blast at the Dinosaur Museum!

My Little Corn on the Cobb! 4-3-2008

J-Dog was in a school play and he was the cutest little Corn! He said his part loud and clear and sang all of the songs as loud as he could! We have loved having Sandra as a teacher this year, and will miss not having her next year! Way to go Dog!

On the bright side of this crazy life…

The past couple of months has gone by in a blur and I feel that I haven’t had time to sit and enjoy my children like I should or my poor husband. I feel like I am constantly nagging everyone to hurry up so we can get here or there. So I would like to take a minute to say...

I am thankful to have a HUSBAND who works harder than he SHOULD. I am thankful to have a DAUGHTER to teach me how to be a better MOMMA. I am thankful for J-DOG without his tender heart the world would be BLUE! I am thankful for KODA to remind me to LAUGH. I am thankful for my SISTER who listens to ME. I am thankful for my SWEETS who puts up with ALL of me. I am thankful for my DAD who has shown me what UNCONDITIONAL love is. I am thankful for the HARD times to help me APPRECIATE the good. I am thankful for a MOM for being a great GRANDMA. I am thankful for the INNOCENCE of my children to help me see life through the eyes of GOD.
